“Vasile Alecsandri” University of Bacau (Universitatea Vasile Alecsandri din Bacău) is located in Bacău, the capital of Bacău County, in the North-East region of Romania. Since 1961, the university has progressively developed and carried on a tradition in the fields of education and research.
Vasile Alecsandri University of Bacău is an active presence in the regional development, is member of consultative group of North East Regional Development Agency to establish and implement the sustainable development strategy and partner of Bacau County Council.
University of Bacau has Research Centers in the field of Environment Engineering and Chemical, Biochemical and Food Engineering and the students, especially the students from doctoral program, develop an intense research activity in these areas.
Engineering Faculty offers, among other specializations and directly connected with the project activities, the following study programs: Environmental Engineering, Rural Sustainable Development, Food Products Engineering, Engineering and Management, Chemistry and Engineering of Processing and Product Recovery, Power Engineering.

The Politecnico di Torino (POLITO), founded in 1906 from the roots of the Technical School for Engineers created in 1859, has a long-standing tradition of leadership of polytechnic culture. It is one of the most important universities in Europe for engineering and architecture. For more than 150 years, POLITO has been one of the most prestigious public institutions at both the International and the Italian levels. With 4 campuses that gather more than 39.000 students and 900 between professors and researchers, Politecnico is ranked among the first 25 European technical Universities Engineering/Technology/Computer Science. The participation to many international projects allows POLITO to count on a great experience: in the H2020, POLITO has already 100 approved projects with a total EU contribution of 35 million Euro.
DIETHNES PANEPISTIMIO ELLADOS
The Diethnes Panepistimio Ellados (International Hellenic University – IHU) was initially established by Law (No 3391/2005) in October 2005 and was based in Thessaloniki, Greece. The IHU was Greece’s first public university where programmes were taught exclusively in English comprised three (3) Schools which offered twenty-four (24) master programmes. In 2019, the International Hellenic University was re-established by Law (No 4610/2019), and now comprises nine (9) Schools and thirty-three(33) Departments with campuses in Thessaloniki (Thermi and Sindos), Kavala, Serres, Drama, Katerini, Edessa, Kilkis, Didymoteicho. The two Schools (School of Humanities, Social Sciences and Economics and the School of Science and Technology) of the IHU belong to the University Center of International Programmes of Studies (UCIPS) of the International Hellenic University (IHU) offering programmes that are taught exclusively in English. The university is financed by the European Union and the Greek state.

The University of Alicante (UA) was founded in 1979 and is considered one of the most innovative and fastest developing university in Spain. The UA is firmly interlinked with its socio-economic environment; it is an important reference for many companies with which it has contracts for technical assistance, technology transfer, trainees, etc. It is also a point of reference in international relations: conventions, venues, mobility and exchanges, cooperation between various innovative in various parts of the world projects. In recent years the University of Alicante has been focused on expanding its actions in entrepreneurship, assuming a new role as Enterprising University. With this idea the "uaemprende" programme has been launched to foster the entrepreneurial culture among the university community, implement business ideas and drive the initiatives, which are closer to the market. Also, the UA created Career Centre of the University of Alicante aimed to offer support to students & graduates in finding quality employment & foster entrepreneurial culture.

SC Romagria SRL Bacau was founded in 1992 being one of the largest agricultural holdings in Bacau County. The land of the company is cultivated with wheat, rapeseed, maize hybrid batch, sunflower. The Romagria SRL has the necessary endowment and applies modern plant cultivation technologies, has modern machines for processing the land and applies fertilizers and pesticides according to the modern technologies of plant cultivation. From 2009 the company holds a four stars hotel which uses the products of the Romagria SRL farms.

Agrindustria Tecco Srl (AGRIND) is an Italian SME, founded in 1985, that exploits local agricultural and agro-industrial waste to produce several added-value products, such as: food flour, soft vegetable abrasives, bases for cosmetics, supports for the pharmaceutical and animal feed industries, materials and vegetable additives for many other uses. It also offers innovative services for other companies, such as grinding, micronisation, roasting, pre-cooking, drying, and cryogenic grinding. The main goal of AGRIND is to create value from local waste, creating new technological and economical connections between different local sectors.

The ALFAWOOD GROUP SA is currently the leading wood business in Greece. The group is producing semi- finished and ready to use wood products currently selling besides Greece to Balkan area, Middle East and Western Europe. All sales are performed though a wide sales network of wood wholesalers and customers of the company. The group has a history and experience in the wood business over 37 years and it is evolved in the production of various products such as MDF, Particleboard, wood pellets and many others.
COMUNIDAD DE REGANTES DE PLIEGO
The Comunidad de Regantes de Pliego (CRPliego) is an entity of public law authorized by the Confederación Higrográfica del Segura (Murcia, Spain). Its main activity is focused on the management of water for irrigation in the territorial scope of all the Pliego orchard, with an area of about 850 hectares out of a total of 27 Km2 that make up the municipality of Pliego. It is currently in the phase of implementing new irrigation systems with modern systems of water management and self-control as well as implementation of renewable energy sources employed for the elevation of the water of the different reservoirs and their extraction from the aquifer, as well as for covering of the reservoirs to avoid water evaporation.
